Upon returning to the dock from the BBI Hooked on Kids Tourney. I was greeted by a woman who I would later know as M.C. She and her Family Scott, Shelby, and Simon. Were looking for something to do that afternoon so they decided to come down to the World Wide Sportsman dock ,where my business is located, to see if anyone could take them fishing. I was just cleaning my boat and getting ready to head home. They were such a nice family and I couldn't just leave them hanging with nothing to do. So we met back at the marina in an hour. Not looking to target anything in particular we set out with a well full of shrimp and a few chum blocks. On the way we stopped and grabbed more bait from my pinfish trap and made the short run to the destination. Once we arrived and got the chum out the Mangroves moved in and were hungry. We proceeded to catch them one after the other. We only kept the ones 14 inches or bigger and by the time we were done we had Iced 10. More than enough for a couple dinners for a family of 4. After we were done with the dinner we moved on to catch some sharks. Simon and Shelby both landed multiple sharks up to 6 1/2 ft and at one point were even doubled up. What a fun unexpected afternoon with a great family who I am happy to call clients and friends!
