I am very happy to have been a part of and help raise money for a great cause with the Hooked on kids BBI charity fishing tournament benefiting Sheridan House. The tournament dinner and rules ceremony was amazing and set up beautifully with great entertainment and food. The group of guys I had on the boat were novice anglers but we still managed to catch a few of our targeted species of Redfish, Snook, Trout and Snapper. The weather was beautiful although very hot but the bay was calm and it made for a beautiful ride. The guys were awesome! Our redfish were on the small side, and we lost a couple of big snook that definitely would have been in contention. We never targeted sea trout hoping that we could catch some as by catch of reds and snook as we often do. Come to find out some of our snappers may have put us on the leader board, but we were having fun and weren't quite ready to go in before designated lines out. So we continued to fish and have fun and raised money for charity to boot. All in all I would say it was a great day.
