Well it has been an outstanding couple of weeks of fishing here in the Florida Keys with a lot of happy clients from all around the country. In the past few weeks we have done it about all, but the most outstanding bite has got to be the gulf wrecks. I love fishing these shallow water wrecks because the action is so fast and the variety can be through the roof. On every cast the anticipation of what you might catch is something you just have to experience for yourself. One cast could be anything from a delicious Mangrove Snapper, or the drag screaming run of a Spanish Mackerel to a Pulse Pounding King Mackerel or the all out dogfight of a Goliath Grouper that will test your will, strength, and patience. The variety is unbeatable and their are way to many fish to list, but I can say without blinking an eye that the action will be non-stop. On a particularly flat calm day we even found rolling Tarpon and managed to jump a few and land one. If you want to fish the gulf wrecks be prepared for a little bit longer of a run to get there, but the catching will make up for the longer run time.
